I don't, either. But I think it depends on the reason for hesitation. There is a difference between hesitating to consider the weight of an action and hesitating because of a fear of repercussions.
I hesitated because I didn't want to hurt Camille, especially when I didn't know if I was right. But I also hesitated because I didn't want Camille to hate me. So both, perhaps.
