I think we all must take care of ourselves here first and foremost... but if your only hesitation is the fear you're being selfish, then I suppose I think you are risking taking the decision from them.

Yes... I don't want to do that. They might want to wish for something important enough that the risk means little to them.

Although, if that is the case, they should really take some initiative in seeking me out, too.
