We got caught up in a conflict. A plot to change the world by destroying the gods. The people behind the plot are horrible, and somehow we've been swept up in all of it, even though I don't care much for the gods.

Destroying the gods, huh? I don't know how mere mortals are supposed to do that. Probably some power source that will let them level up or something....

The godeater is the one imprisoned. And the gods put him there, so he wouldn't eat them.
