I'm not sure it was ever actually evil. That's just how I remember it. Because that's how I died - I was hung from it. And then some better people found it, and took care of it, and it recovered over a long period of time. And now it's beautiful, and people stroll under the branches and little children play in the park beside it, and they don't even know to be afraid of it. Isn't that a nice story?
