[i'm setting this for after camille was found unless you're on cyoa and you want it before. otherwise, she's here, tying a little splint in pâté's wing.]
no its fine he's fine. after all of that absolute mess, with camille safely tucked away somewhere and the cyoaers hopefully healing, its time to make the rounds. spotting laudna, rondo perks up a little and makes his way over... and spotting what she's doing, offers a little smile. ]
He's got a pretty wide courageous streak, huh? [ first helping to wrangle crows...fighting off spiders... ] As stalwart as a companion as ever, Miss Laudna.
You're... a sorcerer? Is that right? Not a wizard. So, different from Mr. Gale.... it's hard to keep these straight, sometimes. I tried to ask him what the difference between them was, but he didn't answer me... I guess it was a stupid question.
Sort of, yes. The difference is rather simple - I was born with magic, whereas wizards learn it from books and school. But I do also draw some powers from elsewhere, from the same well Delilah's powers come from - not pure sorcery. [she multiclasses.]
I'm not a big expert on magic, but... at home, the scholars learn certain elemental control through books, and then there are others who can practice different elements, like - wind, and dark, and light. They never cross over because the styles are so different.
So... to meet someone who can do more than one and master magic the way that you do is amazing. It's really impressive!
[this is very sweet. she smiles a little, but also - ]
To be honest, I don't know if the other type I do is all that, um, praiseworthy. Delilah was involved with some very dangerous things. And because she's part of me, I can draw on that same well - but it's not exactly a matter of skill.
I tried for a while to only rely on my own innate ability, but it was too difficult.
Imogen is a full sorcerer. She draws her power from the moon. We didn't really learn from one another, but we've helped one another through certain difficulties involving our powers.
I see... [ truly we are learning so much about fantasy magic in this game... ] And she's helped you with... everything with Delilah, too, right? Not - not, technically, but... emotionally. Supportively.

Miss Laudna, that's... really cool.
[ it's a little more muted than usual, if only because it has been a Day Of Things Happening, but no less sparkly eyed. ]

[a little embarrassed, tugging on her hair.]
It's rather unusual where I'm from but not unheard of.

[ man. that evil, evil lady. there's a lull here, but after a moment: ]
...I remember... The other day, you mentioned your friend - Miss Imogen, right? Is she a magic user, too? Did you all learn from each other...?
