I was born with an innate magic. Even in our world, that's rare - magic is often studied or conferred. [but sometimes you are a sorcerer.] She didn't know that - to her, I was just a peasant girl whose death no one with any real power would object to. She meant to raise me as a thrall, but it didn't work as intended, and instead I took a piece of her. And that is why I am still here, the way I am, for all of these years.

Listen — I don't have the full picture of what happened here. I don't understand all this witchcraft and wizardry stuff. But there was a "Delilah", and there was an undead army, and Todomatsu's neck has a fucked up bite on it. It's an awful lot of coincidences.
