You are. I seriously don't know how to reply when you talk about stuff that way... [a pauses.] But I did. Help kill someone, I mean.

...I suppose it's simply a matter of, I can be a bit frightening and off-putting to some people. And if I smile, they'll know I don't mean any harm even if we're discussing something quite serious.

[this is not how it works at all the fact that she's smiling makes it so much scarier.]

I think all of you made a decision. I don't know if it was the best decision, though I can think of many worse ones. But overall, I think making a decision of some sort was better than doing nothing and waiting for someone else to act. That's my opinion on the matter.

... I guess. [subdued.] I keep thinking that maybe we just didn't look hard enough for a better solution, even though I know there wasn't one. Someone shared something with me yesterday that pretty much confirmed death is the only way to get rid of the monsters.

Another piece of a certain journal. [being a little vague just to be safe.] It said everyone who dies loses their monster, so they can't be affected by the summonings anymore.
