It can be! Plenty do. Wizards and the like. But not me. I learned on my own, and Delilah gave me some instruction.

Yes. Even when I was a child, I always had just enough magic to be unusual. The other children in Whitestone never liked me much...

...It's not unusual, but generally as a divine gift or something learned after study at a fancy school. In a small town, when someone is born with it, people have their superstitions.

What sort of magic is it? I don't really know how magic works or anything so I don't know what it can do.

Um. Well. I can make things... I can summon creatures from shadow, or draw on their essence, or animate objects...And I can do psychic damage and make them afraid.
