Yeah. They.... Kate was so sick. The church agreed to treat her, if I did work for them. They said it was "purging demons". Karlach and Izutsumi were with me too. They gave us "medicine" every night. [ hence why she had withdrawal ] Even when I tried to.... think otherwise, I couldn't. It was all a fog. Lucas had medicine here. And I know his sister was really sick. I know she used to be sick. I know the church took him in. It couldn't be anyone else.

I saw a memory of his, before he died. He was being given "medicine," but something about it was very wrong. He was very frightened before getting it, but his emotions changed after. He told me it was because he was being treated for anxiety. [he really did just say it was xanax.]

The thing they gave us... took away all our pain. And kind of our thoughts, too? Everything felt so fuzzy. Sometimes peaceful, sometimes just... floaty. I couldn't concentrate on anything except... doing what they told me to do. I even tried to snoop around. But my mind kept blanking. It was... freaky.

Sometimes there'd be other side effects too. I'd forget who I was, who everyone else was.
