[well. laudna can be found after trial outside the haunted house. actually in less of a weird and manic mood than she was the night before. she seems more like she's not sure how to react.]
[At first Erin had been glad about the trial because it meant she wouldn't have to undertake everything on her own. Thirty-nine people are better than one, after all.
But the longer it went, the worst it felt. It seemed like they were spinning their wheels in place, and then it all comes crashing down and dread ensues for a whole lot. Truthfully, Ashlyn covering her ears like that made it all sink in: things are majorly messed up. This will be harder to endure than she expected]
How did you think this would go? Less messy? Messier?
...when it started I thought it'd go different. That we'd reach solid answers. Feels like instead we got somewhere without even knowing for sure how we got there.
[Which is frustrating to her journalist heart, really, but she's more shaken up than she wants to admit. It's not like Boothill being caught was a result of blind guesses, but it still feels like there was a lot of room for improvement and that irks her because she ponders what she could have done different to make it go better]
I was sure we'd simply follow our emotions, but in the end, it was an admirable effort locating the culprit. Clever, hard work from many people to bring down someone most of them truly cared for. That's what I didn't expect.
Everyone is...it's not that I don't think people did well, don't get me wrong. Dunno, I'm just antsy about that all.
But in the end, seems like most got together to vote for the same person instead of getting cold feet or spreading it all over the place.
[.......]
...that's...more than a lot of people are capable of. I can think of very few I have known who would do that.
[There was at least one vote for Karma but it doesn't really feel like those happened just because someone couldn't bring themselves to vote for Boothill. There were reasons to be wary of Karma in the end there]
week 0; saturday
...Hmm. That went differently than I anticipated.
