It's a little more complicated than that. And I don't resent them for it. They have been quite considerate of me, in fact. It's simply that... as much as I admire people who are proactive, I don't tend to be one of them.
I don't know, that still sounds pretty shitty to me. If your life depends on theirs, one of their top priorities should be not putting you at risk. It's not like all four of them really needed to be in on it anyway.
