Mm... I'm not really the type to get that attached in the first place.
[ which he doesn't think should come as a surprise when she already saw his (sometimes?) literal lack of a heart in his memory. ]
...But, you know, I've been in a noisy full house with the same people my whole life. So it's been nice to have something at least a little bit like that since I started staying here.
I've spent a lot of time alone. But my friends are a little like this. Sometimes, they are quite irritating or stubborn, but I'm happy to have them around.
[she doesn't think totty is heartless at all, but she also doesn't think it's weird to put up barriers against getting attached.]
He must have been at a pretty bad disadvantage last night. It sounded like he'd been losing feeling in his limbs since he got back... that would have had to have made it a lot harder to fight back, even for someone as good as him.
[she twists some of her glittery hair in her hand.]
Totty, I wound up finding a partner this week. And I have a secondary ability now. I have a dream, on Thursday, about a particular location.
I dreamt of the boardwalk. I think there were two separate sets of people who came through there. In one dream, a person was setting out something on the ground - they put three things down. A second person crept up on them. They threw something at that person and then both fled.
In the other dream, two people were running through the boardwalk. Angry, causing a lot of damage. They separated and came back with weapons and fought, and then there was a great deal of fire. But they both fled as well.
I've wondered - either of those could have been a dream about Kanda, couldn't it have been? The balloon being thrown on the one hand, the fight on the other.
[ man... after all the time he spent trying to avoid even thinking about finding his partner, he's kind of jealous now that other people are getting them. ]
Whoa. That's... huh. It sounds like it could be, yeah.
[ it's a little hard to picture just from a description, though. ]
It definitely seemed like two different pairs of people? Not like... I don't know, the person who ran the first time came back and they started fighting?
I don't know for certain, but I think so. The first set were moving differently; the person who was creeping up on them was very cautious and deliberate. The second set were in a violent fury.

[ the good really doesn't outweigh the bad, but. it's even, maybe. either way, it's what he knows.
brushes some glitter off of his sleeve. ]
...Anyway, I'm glad all of you let me stay here. Even though I don't think Kanda-kun really got much of a say in it.

[maybe.]

Thanks.

It's going to be hard to figure anything out until we can look at the evidence, but I think that's really useful information to have and keep in mind.
