Daan also asked if we have something like a nervous system over here and Mathis got a similar letter about it from Iwatooshi. Is that meant as the core? Or...

It seems different though. They were telling Todomatsu to stay safe and alive, while also saying they need him there. Lavi got something similar and was told that he should figure it out.

Unfortunately, I am fairly certain of the need to winnow our numbers to below this "magic" six. I believe it cannot be so low as they decide to simply restart the entire ritual, but does not need to be precisely five. Four would also likely be fine.

Not to get too into the soup metaphor, but Astarion's letter to me suggested that the "ingredients" did not need to be organic. The implication being that, erm, dying did not need to be at the hands of a monster, and we could ... make that happen ourselves, should the need be.

He also less asked and more told me to do this.

The others have been getting the same, but with mixed messages. That they want them over there, but also don't die and stay safe.
